Established in 2006 and amalgamated to HOMS Group International in 2015, we are one of East Africa’s leading real estate development, sales, and management firms. We identify and exploit investment opportunities in real estate, raise and provide capital and manage turnkey projects.

From inception, HOMS has built within itself integrated and differentiated key capabilities in real estate development, project management, property and facilities management, sales and letting, and provision of building materials and finishes. Our main objective is vertical integration of all aspects of the property development value chain in order to create value for our clients and investors alike. We are committed to promoting thoughtful, innovative design and aim to contribute to resolving current urban issues of congestion and urban sprawl through sustainable development.

HOMS has ownership interest in six subsidiaries namely Sterling Partners, Fratelli Design and Construction, HomeArt, Moga Tiles, Windoor, and Asal Builders. Through these subsidiaries, HOMS develops markets and sells properties as well as supplies necessary building components.

ABDULKADIR HAJI

Executive Director

Holds a Bachelors’ degree in Business, University of Bradford & an MBA from United States International University. He has served on the boards of various companies such as Kurwitu Ventures, which is a publicly listed company on the NSE as well as others such as Abu Huraira Academy, Masalani Communications, and Fountain Brick Investment Company. Other areas include business interest in the petroleum industry, the manufacturing sector, and heavy machinery supply.  He serves on the HGI Board as a non- executive director.

LIBAN MAHDI

CFO

Is an Economist who achieved his Bachelors of Science and his Masters of Arts in the field from reputable Iowa State University and San Diego State University.

Liban has over 25 years’ experience in the field of finance working as Financial Manager in the Public Sector in Canada for over fifteen years where he participated in the development of Public Financial Policy in regards to the Settlement of new Immigrants in Canada. Liban also has extensive experience in the field of education where he taught Finance and Accounting for over ten years and also played a key role in the establishment of private educational institutions.

ISMAIL SANTUR

Managing Director

Graduated from the University of Windsor, Canada with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and is a Certified Public Accountant (USA), & a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).

Ismail has over 21 years of financial management, corporate governance, audit, and management experience in public and private organizations in USA, Canada, Qatar. He has worked with KPMG and Ernst & Young in Washington DC (USA) both as an auditor and consultant where he worked with major banks and government clients. In Qatar, Ismail served as the Director of Finance for Qatar Sports Investment (QSI) – a multibillion USD investment company with interest in real estate assets, sports clubs (sole owner of Paris Saint-Germain F.C.) and golf as well health/fitness clubs.

FATHUDIN MOHAMED

Executive Chairman

Is a graduate of Carlton University, Ottawa & University of Ohio, Athens. He is a skilled property development professional with an entrepreneurial spirit and over 10 years of diverse property experience in all facets of the real estate development cycle including financial assessment, market research, design, and consultant management, joint venture partnerships and end to end development including project ideation.

He has successfully undertaken and completed projects worth KES. 1 billion such as Sky View Apartments Kilimani and Lennox Park Kilimani, just to mention a few.

Through Sterling partners, we develop, sell, let and manage both commercial and residential properties. We are committed to progressive and sustainable design and continue to push the limit

We offer a full range of construction services for industrial, commercial and community buildings. Our attention to our customers, superior-quality building products and warranties are second to none

We are authorised stockists of the global furniture brands Dogtas and Kebelek, providing quality and affordably priced elegant furniture for the East African market

We design and build custom cabinetry and furniture guaranteeing speedy and superior delivery of kitchens, wardrobes, bathrooms and shop displays

We are authorised distributors for Vitra tiles, a mid-range to high end tile manufacturer of international repute.

We use modern machinery and specialised labour to fabricate state of the art timber and aluminium doors and windows
